  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken stock homemade
  • 1 1/2 cup broccoli
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper


  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Saute onion in hot butter until translucent.
  • Stir chicken stock and heavy cream into the mixture and bring to boil.
  • Add broccoli and carrots until vegetables are tender. Using a blender, blend mixture until thick and creamy.
  • Add cheddar cheese and give it a stir until cheese melts. Season with salt and pepper
